Biosphere2 is listed as one of the 50 must-see wonders of the world by Time Life Books. The Biosphere2 is located in Oracle, AZ and the guided tour is well worth the drive to this remote location.
(Be sure to click on the above link to Wikipedia for history and detailed information on the Biosphere2) The tour takes you inside the Upper and Lower Human Habitats, the Rainforest, the Water and Life Experiment, the Lungs, the Energy Center, and the Ocean. The Biosphere2 is "worlds largest living science center dedicated to exploring the envioronment, the future, and our planet".
